Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Make the traditional chocolate covered strawberry a little extra special for Game Day!
Ingredients
- 10 Strawberries
- 1 bar Dark Chocolate
- 1/2 bar White Chocolate
Instructions
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Choose your best strawberries, be sure they are completely dry.
- Coat in Chocolate: In a double broiler, melt the chocolate over medium heat. Be sure the pot is completely dry - water is the enemy of meted chocolate! Dip each of the strawberries into the chocolate to cover completely, working one at a time, then place each ball on the parchment paper to set.
- Make the laces: In a double broiler, melt the white chocolate over medium heat. Once melted, put into a baggie and snip the corner off or use an icing bag if you have one handy. Draw the "football laces" onto each individual strawberry.
